Portrait Photography

Portraits are all about capturing personality and enhancing your individual features to create an image that really represents you. Casual and relaxed poses are the order of the day, and by giving you the opportunity to just be yourself, you are guaranteed a fun, relaxed and individual photo-shoot which is just as unique as you are!

I aim to break away from the traditional formal style of formally-posed family portraits and allow children to express their own personalities, allowing for more relaxed and natural poses for you and your loved ones.

During a family photo-shoot I will take a mix of individual portraits if desired, smaller groups such as kids only or adults only and shots of the entire group. Whether your family consists of 2 people or 12 people, you can rest assured that I will provide a fun and natural photo-shoot!

All Portrait Packages Include:

A preview of your images – at various points throughout the photo-shoot, I will show you the images on the LCD screen of my camera. After the photo-shoot I will set up a password-protected web gallery or mail a CD with watermarked preview images to your home address. You can then choose your favourite images for editing, and after confirming these images with me I will begin editing. If requested, we will arrange to meet again for a preview of your final images. During this preview you are free to ask for any changes to the images, such as certain photos in black and white, photos to be modified and generally anything you want changed.

After you have approved your final images, you will receive your final prints and/or CD.

Total choice and control – With Kirsty Legg Photography, you have full control over your photo-shoot, from choice of location, outfits and styles to the final edited and printed images. Thanks to portable studio equipment, I can bring the studio experience into your own home – ideal for children and babies who tend to be more comfortable in familiar surroundings. If you prefer a more natural feel, why not choose a local park, beach, lake or even a city centre for a more urban feel as a backdrop for your images?

With my images supplied to you on CD, you are not forced into packages with expensive albums. I can supply you with loose prints, ideal for popping into the existing family album. The photography CD also allows you to create your own prints, or if you take the CD to any good photo lab they can create prints for you. You do not require my written permission to make printed copies of your images as long as they are not for commercial purposes.

The Individual – More suited towards an individual adult or child, this package consists of 1 hour of photography with as many images taken as time allows for. You will receive 10 edited and ready-to-print images on CD. - £60

The Individual Plus – More suited towards an individual adult or child, this package consists of 1 hour of photography with as many images taken as time allows for. You will receive 10 edited and ready-to-print images on CD with five 7x5” (A5-sized) or three 10x8” (A4-sized) high-quality prints. - £70

The Individual Max - More suited towards an individual adult or child, this package consists of 2 hour of photography with as many images taken as time allows for. You will receive 15 edited and ready-to-print images on CD with eight 7x5” (A5-sized) or five 10x8” (A4-sized) high-quality prints. - £100

Portraits for Large Groups

The Clan – Suited for groups of up to 8 people, this package includes up to 3 hours of photography and as many images taken as time allows for. You will receive a CD with 25 edited and ready-to-print images. - £180

The Clan Plus - Suited for groups of up to 8 people, this package includes up to 3 hours of photography and as many images taken as time allows for. You will receive a CD with 25 edited and ready-to-print images and fourteen 7x5” (A5-sized) or eight 10x8” (A4-sized) prints. - £200
